Pilgrimage to The Holy Land & Rome

“But on the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, “Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.” ~ Acts 23:11

There is no place on earth more sacred than the segment of the Middle East known as the Holy Land. In this area, the main monotheists believe, God began a relationship with human beings.

Here can be found the ruins of the world’s oldest civilizations at the strategic location where Africa, Asia, and Europe meet, an ancient corridor between the East and West.

Located seventeen miles inland from the Tyrrhenian Sea, Rome is the capital city of Italy and home of Vatican City. Recognized as an independent state by Italy since 1929, Vatican City is the seat of the papacy of the Roman Catholic Church. The majestic dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City towers over the Roman skyline. The former center of the Roman Empire, Rome has been the capital of united Italy since 1871.
